"Stone and Bone" – sculpture in public space, Erlebniswald "Historischer Tiergarten", Siegen 2016

A group of sculptures consisting of three large stones or boulders.

The choice fell on two quartzes and a granite, each resting on four iron legs. The weight of the stones, whose weights range between 220 and 520 kg, is offset by the "on-the-legs" position. Seen from a distance, the stones seem to be in a detached, lighter state.

On closer inspection, the sculptures in the historical animal parc itself become four-legged, animal-like beings that stand together and form a community.
